PADI Deep Diver

There are dive sites that justify a deeper dive. For example, to dive a beautiful wreck or to observe certain species of fish. In this course you will become familiar with the dangers and risks of deep diving. By practicing skills at greater depths you will gain more confidence in diving there.

Course content

• Planning, techniques, problems and dangers of deep diving.
• Risk factors
• Repetitive dives
• Special equipment
• 3-4 open water dives

Requirement

• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent brevet
• Minimum age: 15 years
• 25 logged dives and experience with lake diving
  • You should feel comfortable diving in the lake and in the dark. The first dive of the course will give you and your instructor a good assessment of whether you are ready for this level. If you are unsure whether you are ready for the PADI Deep Diver Specialist, please contact us beforehand.

Complete equipment is required. Missing items can be rented from us during the course at discounted prices. 

Course type

Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see "Course dates"). If you have a busy schedule or would like to enjoy individual attention, we recommend a VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For VIP or private course bookings, please indicate a few possible dates in the "Message" field when you register.

This course is offered at TSK in a 1-to-1 staff-student ratio. If you are booking the course as a private course, please let us know about your previous diving experience together in the comments field. The better you know your dive buddy, the more fun this course will be for you.

Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of the participant. We recommend a membership with the Schweizer Unterwasser-Sport-Verband SUSV.
