PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver | Elba

Always wanted to learn how to scuba dive and see the world beneath the weaves? This course will give you the necessary knowledge and skills to safely experience the underwater world. First dives in a swimming pool and in safe waters are the focus of this course. This scuba diving certification is recognised around the world. It entitles you to rent diving equipment in any dive shop, to participate in diving activities and to continue your journey with further courses.

The entire course can be completed on Elba. If it is more suitable, you can do the theory and the swimming pool lessons in Bern, and complete the course with the four open water dives with us on Elba. Enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea during your course, and book more dives with us on Elba afterwards.

Dive course on Elba

The diving spots around the island Elba are among the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. For years we've been diving in this beautiful area and had the opportunity to appreciate the divespots as well as the island itself.
We offer courses starting in summer and autumn and individual dives in small groups. We are happy to share our passion with you!

We have reserved apartments in different sizes in this beautifully located complex near the diving base. Friends or family members who do not dive feel comfortable here. We take care of the bookings, contact us for advice.

The Island of Elba

The island offers a lot. Picturesque little towns, idyllic beaches, wonderful hiking or biking tours and, last but not least, the excellent mediterranean cuisine. It's an ideal place to combine family and diving vacations.

Our Diving Base

Tavel light to Elba and rent equipment from us on site. Our dive center is located in the resort and offers a wide range of modern equipment. For boat dives we cooperate with OmniSub in Barbarossa Bay.

Theory

The theory will be aquired in advance by the participants via PADI eLearning

Requirements

• good swimming skills
• medical certificate (not older than 1 year)
• minimum age: 15 years (10 years for PADI Junior Open Water Diver)

Equipment

The diving equipment (excluding ABC equipment) is provided in this course. If desired, the ABC equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, booties) can be rented for the entire course.

Course Type

With the VIP course you get a one-on-one supervision by the instructor. The private course is designed for a small group of two or three people. The group course if for four people or more.

PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox)

You can complete your PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) certification together with the PADI Open Water Diver. If you combine the two courses you benefit from a CHF 40.00 discount.

Insurance

Insurance is in the responsibility of the participant. We recommend a membership with the Schweizer Unterwasser-Sport-Verband  SUSV.
