PADI Sidemount Diver

Learn a new and different way to configure your cylinders in the PADI Sidemount Diver course. Sidemount diving offers you:

- an alternative possibility for more streamlining in water
- easier transport of the equipment on land
- Relief for the back
- separate breathing gas systems and a separate breathing gas reserve
- the monitoring of all the equipment, since it is in front of you
- more breathing gas for longer dives.

Because you attach and carry your breathing gas cylinders on the side instead of on your back, this relieves your back from the weight of the cylinders. So you are more mobile during the dive and can enjoy it even more. In addition, you no longer have to walk to the dive site with your heavy tank on your back. You get into the water, fasten your tanks with a clip - and off you go.

PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent brevet
at least 15 years old

Theory
1 dive in the pool (Bern) or confined water (Zurich)
3 open water dives

Diving equipment
The course price includes the sidemount equipment. Everything else that is missing can be rented from us at half price.
