PADI Freediver

Continue your freediving adventure with the PADI Freediver. In this course you will reinforce what you have already learned in the PADI Basic Freediver. Breathing and relaxation techniques are a central content. Equipment and rescue techniques are also discussed. In open water the focus is on deep diving.

Learn the correct diving and equalization techniques for relaxed open water dives. We practice together how to have more fun and safety in the buddy team. Rescue exercises and transport techniques will give you the confidence to practice freediving in a safe way, while maintaining your own safety and that of your buddy. We will deepen your breathing and relaxation techniques in a further breathing workshop.

If you want to immerse yourself completely in freediving, you can attend the Basic Freediver as well as the Freediver Course in only one weekend.

Requirement

• Minimum age 15 years
• PADI Basic Freediver or equivalent certification

Course content
Theory: Freediving activities, equipment, breathing and relaxation techniques, rescue techniques.
Breathing workshops.
Practice in the lake: diving techniques, deep diving, rescue techniques.

Theory
The theory in this course is completed in advance by participants using the self-study tool PADI Freediver Touch. Please let us know at your registration in the field Remarks, if you do not have such a login yet. 

Equipment

• Neoprene wetsuit (5-7mm)
• Mask + Snorkel
• Freedive fins
• Neoprene socks
• Neoprene gloves
• weight belt with led

Fins and weight belt with lead are included in the course price.

Bern: Missing equipment is provided in this course.

Zürich: Missing eqipment (except snorkel) can be rented at discounted prices.
