With our GoGreen travel products, we want to show you how you can make a contribution to the environment with small changes to your luggage.
For this project, TSK Zurich has teamed up with the Zero Waste Project «Foifi + Zollfrei ZeroWaste Ladencafé» from Tara and put together a TSK Travel Kit recommendation for you. You can get all products directly from us at TSK Zurich.
Especially on our beloved diving trips the waste water is often drained directly into the sea. Many of our conventional hygiene products are not very environmentally friendly. Often they contain chemical ingredients that end up in the water, on corals and the food chain. With our biodegradable products you can easily make a contribution and still completely do without plastic waste.
We pack therefore in our toilet bag Pack-It from Eagle Creek:
SHAMPOO
We recommend: solid shampoo from Naturmel, Rose Hibiscus, without sulfates.
Why: This soap is very economical, lathers up great and takes up almost no space in your toiletry bag. It is also perfect for trips where only hand luggage is allowed. Plus, it's a Swiss product.
Our tip: Our hair takes a moment to transition from the chemical-laden products we're used to to this sulfate-free, more natural option. The application also takes a little getting used to at first. However, being persistent is worth it, both for our hair and for our environment.
SHOWER SOAP
We recommend: solid shower soap from Seifenmacher, Arosa. TSK favorite aroma: charcoal & wood or Arosa hay.
Why: The soaps are handmade in Arosa (CH), lather at least as well as conventional liquid soaps and smell wonderful.
Our tip: Watch out, slippery! So get a suitable container for both your new shampoo and new shower soap.
CONTAINERS FOR YOUR NEW SHOWER COMPANIONS
We recommend: Soap tin from the soap maker, Arosa / Sisal soap sachet from Bambusliebe.
Why: In the metal soap box your soaps are perfectly stored and fit smear-free in every toilet bag. The sisal soap bags ensure that your soap can dry optimally after use. You can hang the bag practically anywhere in the shower. When dry again, off into the Necessaire.
DEO
We recommend: solid deodorant from Naturmel, L'Original
Why: small and handy, this travel companion can always easily with, even in hand luggage. The deodorant is sustainably packaged in its small jar and very productive.
TOOTH PASTE
We recommend: Natural Toothsoap from Georganics, with activated charcoal.
Why: Finally, no more spitting microparticles from your mouth straight down the drain - and you don't leave any plastic waste behind. The product has the perfect size for your toilet bag and is also ideal for your hand luggage.
TSK TSCHIGGIS ADDITIONALLY RECOMMEND:
We recommend: Menstrual cup from OrganiCup.
Why: The practical menstrual cup is the ideal solution for women who want to do something good for themselves and the environment. Tried and tested by TSK Tschiggis: while diving it doesn't bother you at all, you might even forget that you have your period. You don't produce waste anymore, you don't introduce unnecessary chemicals with every tampon and if you clean your cup properly, it will last forever.

STAY HYDRATED
We recommend: Crush Bottle from HydraPak®.
Why: drink, drink, drink - we often hear this during diving vacations. It is extremely important, especially for us divers, to drink enough fluids and stay hydrated. But we don't want to pollute the environment with pet or plastic bottles. Therefore, the Crush Bottle is the optimal solution and has an ultra-small pack size for your luggage.
We recommend: Gulper bottle from Fourth Element
Why: Traveling to a colder place and want your drinks to stay warm on the dive trip? This thermos will keep your tea warm and become your new favorite companion.
SUN PROTECTION
We recommend: SunCare sunscreen from Mawaii
Why: Of course it is important to protect our skin, but we also know that many conventional sunscreens contain ingredients that settle in the ocean and are toxic to corals. That's why we recommend Mawaii's "Reef friendly" sunscreen without parabens, cinnamates, benzophenones and preservatives.
Our tip: Try to cover as much of your skin as possible with clothing with UV protection (e.g. lycra shirts and leggings) and protect only what is necessary with the sunscreen.
We recommend: Lycra products from Fourth Element
Why: Rash guards and lycra shirts are already produced by almost everyone. They protect you not only against annoying nettles in the water but also against the sun. Fourth Element is also an OceanPositive brand and has made it their flag. You can find more info here.
PRACTICAL BAGS FOR EVERYDAY TRAVEL
